The 2 Gallon Rain Basin is a great sized tank for users looking to maximize the portability of their Overland water system. It can be mounted flat, vertically or upside down. This tank size is great for mounting in easy to grab locations, like a Tacoma bedrail, truck bed, or bed rack.
The 4 Gallon Rain Basin is our midsize Overland water system. This tank size is a great mix of high capacity and portability. Like the 2 gallon tank, this tank can be mounted flat, vertically or upside down, and can easily fit in most locations.
The 8 Gallon Rain Basin is our largest Overland water system. This tank is great for extended camping trips or handling the needs of larger groups.
The Rain Basin can be used for rain collection. Simply remove the rain collection cap and set the tank on a flat surface. Then cozy up in your tent and let your tank refill overnight.
The most useful feature! The built in water spout. The Rain Basin comes with a shut off valve water spout at the base of the tank. Instead of having to dismount your tank every time you need to access your water supply, leave your tank mounted and simply open the valve. This makes washing your hands or filling a water bottle quick and easy. This valve also allows you to attach accessories -like our Rain Flare Pressure Washer.
Rain Sprayer, a battery operated portable pressure washer: Overlanders know it is difficult to keep your vehicle clean inside and and out. Now it is possible to effectively clean your gear before loading it in your vehicle, and also have enough power to blast away thick mud from your windshield and wheel wells. Most other overland water tanks on the market run by using an external source to pressurize the air inside the tank. One of the main downfalls of this concept is as you start to spray water out of your tank, you are also spraying out your air pressure supply. Your tank may start out spraying at 45 PSI, but once you have sprayed out half your water supply, you will also have about half the pressure. You then will have a useless pressure supply of only about 20 PSI and will have to manually re-pressurize your tank. Using an external pump in the sprayer, we avoid this pressure loss flaw. Instead, the Rain Sprayers supplies a consistent pressurized stream with a portable battery that will run for 30 minutes total spray time -enough time to empty your tank multiple times without recharging.
Add the Nozzle Holder to your Rain Flux Sprayer, a locking suction cup for secure attachment to you vehicle window or side panel. Nozzle is equipped with a trigger lock to allow you to use the hose hands free (Not compatible with Rain Flare Sprayer)
Please Note: Each Mount Kit comes with 3 keys. Put one on your key chain, one in your glove box, and leave one at home. ALL LOCKS ARE UNIQUE – WE DO NOT HAVE SPARE KEYS FOR YOUR LOCK
